Not much to brag about its behind a mobile home community with an old sand pit for a lake
Posted April 2014. East side of I35-W off service road, Alvarado,TX Located on Pica Drive at the end. $400 a month but that includes electric! Peaceful and quiet, The fishing is catch and release which is fine. It's for the sport of fishing. The lake is old sand pit. Clean water. There is a road down to Lake Posada or a nice walk. Park is far enough off Interstate 35, no road noise. The other two RV Parks near here are right on I35-W, you won't sleep because of the truck traffic, all nightlong. I have stayed at both of those parks.

Lake Posada has very clean restroom, spacious. Clean shower. Laundry has two new washers and two new dryers. They have small supply of necessary goods in the office. Well lighted at night. Entrance security gate closed at night, but you may enter or leave with security code. All sites are back in facing the lake area and trees; makes for a pleasant view. Grounds are kept clean, mowed and trimmed twice a week.
THEY'RE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DRAG FEET WHEN IT COMES TO REFUND.
Worst Place ever. Wouldn't Recommend this Park to Anyone.. I give this Park a F in Grade. Manager and Owner are Very Very RUDE. They tried to tell us how and where exactly in Space we could park. The owner inisited that we park exactly where she said and got Pissed when we didn't due to having Slides on RV. Where she insisted we park we wouldn't have been able to open Slides without hitting a Tree. She complained to Manager (Her Daughter) . Then she came out and we tried to tell her what happened but she refused to hear us. She told us we had to do exactly as they say . She complained about our Vehicles being Parked by our RV while unhooking everything.
I travel the country doing construction and this is the most rude staff I have ever encountered! Called to make a reservation and lady hung up on my wife! Guess my money wasn't good enough....lol
From the get go the woman who runs the place was very passive aggressive with us. My husband and I are a younger couple and she flat out told us after already taking our money that she doesn't like having younger couples because they cause too much trouble. We keep to our selves and my husband works 60+ hours a week, so I'm mostly home by myself. A week after staying they started "inspecting" our things and told us we couldn't plug in anything but the camper to the electric box and were very rude about asking us to remove the extension cord which was used for our trickle charger. When I asked why and explained they said because we said so. A week later our GFCI outlet went out and I asked if I could use the plug a few hours before my husband got off work so that he would have a hot shower. They told me yes and I unplugged it after. After asking each time to use it I get home one night to find my extension cord missing and a lock on the electric box. After searching everywhere for it and once they had closed for the night my extension cord was next to my door with a note saying that I was told not to use the box. This same woman also calls my husband while at work when I was HOME and the TRAILER to tell him she wanted us out because "your wife has a bad attitude". I have been nothing but nice to these people when they have searched for reasons to try to evict us because she "doesn't like young couples staying at her park." We had problems from the first week we were here and only here 3 of the 4 weeks.
These people are ABSOLUTELY RUDE and PREJUDICE..
